A “List Poem” is exactly what it sounds like. A poem that is often repetitive and made in point form, rather than lyrical prose. <3 These poems are a great way to get out of your comfort zone a little and are also often extremely generative.
In this self-guided writing workshop, we’ll read several examples of list poems and then I will provide you with loads of writing prompts for you to write your own.
Like all writing circles with Doula of Words, this workshop is a safe, generative, welcoming, and warm environment, which is open to all. You don't have to be a published writer or be working on something specific to find a home with us. All you need is a pen, some paper, and an open heart.
