Mother Workshop
This workshop is for you if any of the following statements are true:
I have a mother, and it’s hard. I don’t have a mother, and it’s hard.
I am a mother, and it's hard. I'm not a mother, and it's hard.
I lost my mother. I never knew my mother.
I hate my mother. I love my mother.
I'll always be a mother.
I'll never be a mother.
In this self-guided writing workshop, we explore the many meanings of mother—from grief and loss to joy, trauma, connection, and care. Through guided poetry and curated prompts, you’ll build a writing practice rooted in reflection, love, and deep listening to yourself.
This is a welcoming, inclusive writing space open to everyone. You don’t need to be a published writer or have a project in progress—just a pen, some paper, and an open heart. By signing up, you will get immediate access to:
A packet of curated poems and readings on motherhood
Thoughtful writing prompts and creative exercises to go along with each poem
Access to a supportive community and space to share (optional)
Access to an extensive list of resources on the word mother and loads of support <3
A flexible, self-paced structure you can return to anytime <3
This workshop offers a gentle structure to help you write, reflect, and connect with your own understanding of mother at your own pace. It’s the mother of all writing workshops… I can’t wait to explore it with you. <3
