"These circles have changed my life." "I didn't know I could be this brave." "I've never felt so safe and held." "Vulnerability is everything and I found it here." "My writer's block is over!"

Writing Circles Should Be Safe Spaces.

People often ask me how I got the courage to share my story with the world. I always answer, “By sharing my words as often and as honestly as I can.” Like everything else, bravery takes practice. Open Mic nights and Poetry Slams were one of the ways I practiced mine before my book came out, and I am so glad I did. During the pandemic, online spaces and workshops were how I kept my writing practice alive. What I learned was that it’s not actually about if you can be brave or not — it’s about if you can be curious.

I’ve created a few of my own workshops which are low-key, safe spaces for you to cut your teeth and share your words with people who will appreciate and admire you. It’s also a great way to get to know other writers while refining your craft. Come get curious in a safe and generative container. I made it just for you. ♥️

Join us for witching hour.

Like all our writing circles, Witching Hour is a space for you to write about what is on your heart today. Witching Hour is open to all skill levels and open to anyone who considers themselves to be recovering, or who wants to recover. This might be from addiction, self-harm, or trauma—no matter what you are recovering from, we will welcome you with open arms at Witching Hour.

Takes place at 6pm on the 17th of every month. Free to anyone who needs it.
